JB has Con Way freight sponsor for 2010

And may be driving for Kyle Busch

Benson, Con-way Freight & Busch in 2010? During Sunday night's Speed Report on SPEEDtv, Ray Dunlap reported that word in the garage has it that Johnny Benson has secured the Con-way Freight sponsorship for 2010. Dunlap also said that he's hearing there may be ownership in the team by the name of Kyle Busch.(9-20-2009)

We heard that, too. One of out track announcers at Berlin, Jeff, talked to Johnny on Tuesday and said it was likely that we can see JB racing the trucks at Daytona.

Boy, this would certainly revive my interest in racing. Haven't watched a race all summer.

As I said a lone while back that if Johnny drove for KB it would be a strong team. I just think this could be awsome.

Boy, it'a nice to turn on the computer and see positive news regarding JB. I took a look at a few other forums...and several carried this topic. All the responses were positive and had posters excited about Johnny's return.

What I want for JB is a full-time...quality ride. I'll be very happy if Kyle can provide both those promises. Johnny knows how to drive, feel the pulse of whatever vehicle he runs, and would be a great mentor to other young up-and-coming drivers he teams with.

Keeping my glasses shined for a positive outcome for Johnny!!!

Lol...I'm just sitting here thinking that maybe driving for Kyle would give JB protection against...Kyle. Or maybe not...

I'm all for James Ince beN involved very few know more about raceN then he does! He is a down to earth guy with the know how to get it done if upper mangement would just keep thier nose outta it!
I too hope that some if not all of the old 23 team comes over to this team. It would be nice to see Richie, Semp, Curtis, Woody, Trip and others back with JB!!!

I'm sooooo happy to hear this good news--talk about giving us all a much needed lift to an unbelievable year---geez, it sure was'nt dull now was it folks?
As for his future crew chief and crew--I'm with Cliff, sure would be great to see all the old gang back together again. Really have nothing against James Ince---both men would have Johnny's back.
And I told Becki a long time ago that evidently there must be something about Kyle Busch that the Benson's see in him to like him---that I'd be the first one to eat crow if he helps or is on Johnny's side down the line. Well, maybe it's happening now---I'll wait and see--and I'll say it now, if it helps Johnny, I'm for it. I'll curb my opinion on his attitude as a racer and hope for the best. Truthfully, Johnny could be the best thing that ever happens to this bull in a china shop.
