Timothy drove chassis #137 which was built new for the spring race at Martinsville.

i think he does, but you'll never hear it simply because of the situation.

It also takes a talented driver to take a truck to victory lane, and nobody can deny that Timothy has done well.

Let's not take anything away from Timothy--and at the same time, quietly cheer Trip for making such a great chassis.

What about Chad whom is the crew chief now and made the great call to pit when they did???
What about Richie (aka gassman from JB's old crew) who is the truck chief now, help build that chassis and set the truck up for the race???

It was a great race and a good time in victory lane!! Everyone on that crew and the driver deserves 100% of the credit for thier efforts!

They don't owe anyone nor does anyone owe them for this win! It's all thiers!

thumbup JB ,TRIPSTER and THE GANG ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!thumbup

My personal feelings today were somewhat bitter. Nothing against Peters but I didnt enjoy watching the #1 in Victory lane. I still will never understand what happened with Johnny there. I hope JB gets an awesome ride next year.

It wasn't JB winning so who cares. Should've been JB but things happen for a reason. This is a JB fan club forum right not a gasman's, tripp's, chad's, ince's, MW's, etc.

Yeah-I agree it was sad to see #1 in victory lane when it could've been JB's 5th or 6th win this year! But try as I might, I couldn't fault Peters. He didn't take JB's ride away-Deloach did.But all things happen for a reason, and to quote Johnny "it is what it is"! Can't wait to see what is around the bend for Johnny!

I must admit at first I was bummed than Peters won, but then reason set in. Watching him in Victory Lane, it was so obvious what a thrill it was for him and everyone on his crew. This was his first win, and no one should cheapen that. Congratulations to him and his crew. That being said, I'm with everyone in their feelings about DeLoach. I blame him. That also being said, I'm pretty sure JB was going to race in the Berlin race in June regardless, so he wouldn't have been driving the truck anyway. His injuries were too severe and he's still recovering. We all need to put our collective positive energies into getting him a good ride and sponsor for next year.

I do have to say congrautlations to Timothy. He seems like a nice enough guy. I remember when he drove one of the Bobby Hamilton Racing trucks.

I do wish it was still JB in that truck though.

Hey. At least Hornaday, Skinner, or Bodine didn't win yet again.

So.. good fact Mr Ray....that was chassis #137 So this is the same truck JB drove to a 4th place finish in the spring race at Martinsville this year. Part of missing JB racing is missing all the cool charts and links from Ray.

I'm happy for Timothy Peters getting his first truck win, especially at his home track. It reminded me of when JB got his first truck win at MIS, his home track. Peters seems like a nice guy and hard worker.

I'm sad that Timothy's victory was in the #1 truck and that JB wasn't the one in Victory Lane. I just miss Johnny racing. sniff I hope JB gets a great ride for next year. Then I'll have something & someone to cheer for again.

I watched a special on Timothy Peters. It was a feel good story. He was working out of a 2 car garage recently, and now he finally won a race on a decent team. I wished JB was still in the truck, but I'm happy for Timothy and feel that he deserves all the credit for the win. He had to set up, drive, and stay out of trouble to get that awesome ride to victory lane. Thumbs up Timmy for the win!
