Sellers to run Martinsville truck race: UPDATE to run the #17-Premier Racing Toyota: Nearing the end of his first year in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Peyton Sellers is going to bring it home - literally. Sellers will run in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway on October 24th. The Danville, Virginia native will take to the half-mile track behind the wheel of the Premier Racing Toyota - [# TBA]. Premier Racing has brought on an experienced truck series crew chief for the race in Jason Overstreet, and the team will test this week at Rockingham Speedway. Final sponsorship support for the Martinsville race is still pending. (Peyton Sellers PR)(10-12-2009)
UPDATE: Premier Racing representatives have confirmed that Peyton Sellers will be in the #17-Toyota at Martinsville replacing Timothy Peters. [status of Peters & Red Horse Racing?].(10-12-2009)
All I can say is Wow. What a mess this team has become.

i think since JB isn't racing this year, that the best part about the series is the gossip that takes place during the week!!!

Seems like you could pick any thread and apply that logic. What would we do for entertainment? lol Smile

Read somewhere (Sports Illustrated?) the other day that back when Jeff Gordon was trying to break into big time racing, he and his stepfather approached a number of open wheel teams. All the teams were interested in was what sponsorship he brought with him. Having none, he went to NA$CAR. Got a job and the rest is history. My how times have changed.

Now For The Rest of The Story

Just so you know Peters is not gone from RHR. He will be running the #1 at Martinsville (Jayski missed that part) and Peyton Sellers will be running the #17.
It's about the owners points thingy is the reason for the change.
So there doesn't seem to me to be a mess there at all....just a way to insure Peyton Sellers to get into the race!
I have friends still at RHR and even tho I don't like the way it went for JB there, I STILL SUPPORT MY FRIENDS!

enough said on this
GOOD DAY!
